Prerequisites

This section explains what you need before setting up Bridgecrew and how each resource is used by Bridgecrew.

Amazon Web Services: To set up Bridgecrew, you need access to your AWS accounts and permissions to deploy a new CloudFormation template. Bridgecrew uses a CloudFormation template to create a limited permission role with cross-account access.

Microsoft Azure: To set up Bridgecrew, you need access to your Azure subscriptions and permissions to deploy a new Terraform template. Bridgecrew uses a Terraform template to create a limited permission role with read-access.

Google Cloud: To set up Bridgecrew, you need access to your Google projects and permissions to deploy a new Terraform template. Bridgecrew uses a Terraform template to create a limited permission role with read-access.

Kubernetes: To set up Bridgecrew, you need access to your Kubernetes clusters and permissions to deploy a Bridgecrew Kubernetes runtime agent. Bridgecrew agent can scan configuration manifest and report results.

Github: To install Bridgecrew's GitHub app, you will need admin-level access to your GitHub repositories. You will be able to select individual repositories you would like to monitor. To deploy on a GitHub enterprise instance, contact our support via Chat for step by step guidance.

Bitbucket: To install Bridgecrew's Bitbucket app, you will need admin-level access to your Bitbucket repositories. You will be able to select individual repositories you would like to monitor.

GitLab: To install Bridgecrew's GitLab app, you will need admin-level access to your GitLab repositories. You will be able to select individual repositories you would like to monitor.
