Create Issue

Overview

If the Create Issue option becomes available when you select Resources, you can use this to open a Jira Ticket to remediate the incident.

  1. Press Create Issue to start creating a Jira Ticket.
  1. The remediation option to create a Jira ticket opens.

Elements on the Jira Screen (shown above)

A. The Title of the ticket incident provided by Bridgecrew may be edited.
B. Select Project from options available when you press the down-arrow to the right.

When a project is selected the Select Issue Type option becomes available. Press the down-arrow to the right and select an option.

When an issue type is selected the Components option becomes available. Press the down-arrow to the right and select relevant options.

C. Select Priority from options available when you press the down-arrow to the right.
D. The Description of the ticket incident provided by Bridgecrew includes the guidelines of the relevant Policy and a list of the affected Resources. You may edit this Description.

  1. Press Create Jira Issue or Cancel.
