Updated pull request comments 💬
over 2 years ago by Ariel Kruszyn
We’ve updated our GitHub pull request comments to provide more information in an easier to digest format. The pull requests now include much more information but are grouped to minimize comment overload. Here’s what’s new:
- Comments now include guidance on how to fix the issue and fix suggestions when available for that misconfiguration
- PR comments now track changes throughout the life of the PR and not just the first commit
- Comments are grouped per resource to reduce the number of comments
- Variable & module based errors will also receive PR comments
- Severities are now styled and colored so you can prioritize issues
- Every comment includes the policy ID, a description of the policy, and any relevant benchmarks for that policy
- Comments include related resources to the misconfigured resource using our graph back end
