In addition to detecting cloud infrastructure drift in Terraform, Bridgecrew now supports drift detection violations for CloudFormation templates!
CloudFormation users will now automatically start to see drift violations within the projects page.
A drift is a configuration state where a resource's actual configuration differs from its expected configuration. Drifts usually occur when resources that are managed using infrastructure as code (IaC)—like Terraform or CloudFormation—are modified manually using the CLI or the cloud console.
